"Peaceful venue east of La Crosse, WI, with plenty of space. Site used to be a country club, complete with golf course. Serves multiple functions now, including a cross country (long distance running) course. As a course, the site is solid. Smooth, but complete with ups and downs, a pond, trees and old sand traps. For spectators, the winding, looping nature of the course provides ample opportunity to view the race. Easy access from nearby I90 and not to distant from gas as well as food choices and hotels."

"Kicking Bear hosted their annual camp out there this year and it was a blast! There was plenty of room for all of our activities, waterslide, and camping.
